Days of the Week (A1)

• maandag = Monday
• dinsdag = Tuesday
• woensdag = Wednesday
• donderdag = Thursday
• vrijdag = Friday
• zaterdag = Saturday
• zondag = Sunday

Notes:

• Days of the week are not capitalized in Dutch unless they start a sentence.
• They are all de nouns (e.g., de maandag), but you usually don't use the article when just naming the day.
• To say "on [Day]", use op [dag]:
• Op maandag werk ik. (On Monday I work.)
